" I appreciate this is a very worrying time and this decision was taken to protect the health and wellbeing of our students and staff, which is our primary concern. These are challenging times and unprecedented arrangements. I am very proud of the way our University community is rallying together in these difficult circumstances. The most important thing we can do over the coming weeks and months is to support each other. "

—— Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell
President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Manchester

What we can do, most importantly, is to
support each other.

We'd like to raise money to Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) to support frontline NHS staff who are combating the COVID-19.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is one of the largest acute Trusts in the UK with over 20, 000 staffs and responsible for running a family of ten hospitals in Greater Manchester.

During this unprecedented time, let us stand together to show our support for their tireless hard work by raising money to buy PPEs for NHS staff.

To support our fellow alumni and staff in lockdown, a really easy way to do our bit is to DONATE money to buy PPEs for NHS staff. Please circulate this fundraising page to your fellow classmates and spread our purple love!

All donations will go to MFT, thank you for your kindness!
